Bible Core Course

Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Italy and back to Switzerland

I don't even know where to begin in describing the last 2 months of my life.  The rest of my Bible Core Course (BCC) was absolutely amazing!!  I love the Bible and I love the world.  I love cultures and nations and all kinds of people.  Bringing all of these things together was like a dream come true!  There is so much about the Bible that I didn't even know I didn't know.  Every place we went had a special flavor, something unique to offer, a piece of truth to show.

Jerusalem was my favorite place out of all the places we went.  We studied the books of 1st and 2nd Kings there.  Reading about some of the major events that happened in Jerusalem while being there gave the text a whole new meaning.  Learning about Jewish culture and history while being in the center of the Promised Land was an almost magical experience.  There is something so special and beautiful about that place and those people.  I hope to go back there one day.

I feel like I now carry a special piece of all of these different nations and cultures with me.  Studying the book of Ephesians in Ephesus, Corinthians in Corinth and Romans in Rome was so impacting.  I feel so much more equipped to teach and able to give biblical backing for my beliefs now.  My way of reading and studying God's word has changed and so have I as I've gone deeper in the Word.
