Merry Christmas
We wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Durango, Mexico! May you have a very special holiday season celebrating the birth of our Savior. You may have been wondering how our transition down here has been going, so keep reading and find out!

Moving to Mexico

I (Cassandra) am going to be honest - moving to a different country with a toddler while 8 months pregnant was hard and stressful, but WE DID IT! We found a nice, cozy house to rent and are all settled in now. Thanks to so many of you, we were able to surpass our goal of raising $5000 for our transition down to Durango, which has already been a huge blessing as we've encountered a lot of unforeseen expenses. We are so grateful for your generosity, support and prayers in this season of our lives.

Welcome Avigail An Doan

Avigail An Doan was born on December 2nd, 2021 at 2:50am. She was 7lbs 4oz and 20.5in (the exact same weight and length as Lydia was at birth)! We are so glad that she's finally here! Lydia is loving being a big sister - she can't wait each morning for Avigail to wake up so she can run in and give her hugs and kisses. We are slowly getting used to being a family of 4, and are very grateful that my mom was able to come down for the birth and stay for the holidays!

Ministry Opportunities

We are so thankful for good internet here so we can continue ministering in Vietnam and stay connected. Since COVID has forced so many ministries to transition to an online platform, Daniel has been able to translate for classes and meetings in Vietnam over Zoom [first picture above]. He continues to do a lot of written translation as well for various Christian organizations wanting to make more resources available in Vietnamese. We have also connected with the YWAM base here in Durango and are trying to see how we can get more involved with them in the coming year.

Prayer Requests
1. For Daniel's health - that the inflammation in his colon would decrease, the medicine would work well, and his symptoms would cease.
2. For patience and favor as we continue to wait for Daniel's citizenship ceremony to be rescheduled.
3. For grace over our family as we all transition to a new country, a new culture, and to being a family of 4.
4. For open doors to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors and the people of Durango.
Once again, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, given toward our move, and continued to support us in so many ways. We are so grateful for the amazing support you've all shown - we feel so blessed and loved. You all mean so much to us. Please let us know how you are doing and how we can be praying for you in this season of your life!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Daniel, Cassandra, Lydia & Avigail
